Baths of Aphrodite is a famous mythological site. It is surrounded by a botanical garden, located in the Akamas Peninsula, past the beautiful fishing harbor of Latsi, towards Neo Chorio.
Aphrodite, ancient Greek Goddess of beauty used to bathe in this natural cool pond.
The legend says she met her lover here, Adonis, God of fertility. He stopped for a drink whilst hunting, and fell in love with her when he drank the water.
“ It is said that if you bathe in the water you will be given eternal youth or you will fall for the next person you see.”
